60 months at 11% APR
Every 1% of APR moves this payment by about $68/month - which is why comparing lenders matters.

How this equipment loan calculator works
It uses the standard amortization formula lenders use for fixed-rate equipment loans: payment = amount financed × r ÷ (1 − (1 + r)^−n), where r is the monthly rate (APR ÷ 12) and n is the number of months. The amount financed is the price minus your down payment.
Total interest is everything you pay over the term minus the amount financed. The estimate doesn't include sales tax, delivery, documentation fees or insurance - ask the lender to list those in writing so you can compare offers like for like.
What moves your equipment financing rate
| Factor | Pushes the rate down | Pushes the rate up |
|---|---|---|
| Credit | 720+ personal score, clean history | Under 620, recent late payments |
| Time in business | 2+ years with steady revenue | Under 1 year, thin financials |
| The equipment | New or late-model, strong resale value | Older, highly specialized, hard to resell |
| Down payment | 10-20% down | 0% down on a weaker file |
| Term | Matched to the machine's useful life | Stretched past what the asset will last |
How to lower your monthly payment
- Extend the term within the equipment's useful life - the payment drops, but total interest rises, so check both numbers above.
- Put 10% down: it lowers the payment and often moves you into a better rate tier.
- Finance new or late-model equipment where it makes sense - lenders price strong-resale assets more aggressively.
- Bundle attachments into the main deal instead of putting them on a credit card at 20%+.
- Compare more than one lender: on a $135K loan over 60 months, each point of APR is roughly $65-70 a month.
Ask your CPA about Section 179
Section 179 can let you deduct the full price of qualifying equipment in the year you place it in service. It doesn't change your loan payment, but it can change the real after-tax cost of the machine - worth a conversation before year-end.

Apply NowMost equipment loans for established businesses with fair-to-excellent credit land between about 7% and 18% APR. Newer businesses or credit under 620 can see 16-28%. The equipment secures the loan, which is why rates usually beat unsecured working capital.
Anywhere from 0% for strong credit on new equipment to 10-20% for newer businesses, used machines or credit under 650. More down lowers the payment and can improve your rate tier.
Terms typically run 24-84 months and are matched to the equipment's useful life - new, long-life machinery qualifies for the longest terms, while older used units get shorter ones.

No - it's an estimate. Your actual rate, term and fees depend on the lender, your credit and financials, and the specific equipment.
